# Integrating with Rillet

This guide walks you through the steps required to connect your Rillet instance with Drivetrain. The process is simple and requires minimal setup on your end.

### Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure that:

* You have an active Rillet account.
* You have access to your Rillet Account Manager or Customer Success representative.

### Step 1: Request API Credentials From Rillet

To enable the **Rillet → Drivetrain integration**, Rillet must issue:

* API Key

These credentials can only be generated by Rillet and must be requested through your Rillet Account Manager.

Ensure API access to AT LEAST the following objects:

* Accounts
* BankAccounts
* BookPeriods
* Customers
* Fields
* Invoices
* JournalEntries
* Organizations
* Products
* Subsidiaries
* Vendors

{% hint style="warning" %}
Reach out to your **Rillet representative** and **request API credentials** for the Drivetrain integration.
{% endhint %}

### Step 2: Share Credentials With Drivetrain

Once Rillet provides your API Key, share them securely with the Drivetrain onboarding team.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://integrations.drivetrain.ai/integration-guide/integrate-with-drivetrain/accounting-and-erp/integrating-with-rillet.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
