# Integrating with Freshdesk

## Prerequisites

To connect Freshdesk to Drivetrain, you need:

* An active Freshdesk account
* Admin privileges on Freshdesk

## Freshdesk Setup <a href="#freshdesk-setup" id="freshdesk-setup"></a>

### Find Subdomain <a href="#find-subdomain" id="find-subdomain"></a>

1. Log in to your Freshdesk account using your Freshdesk URL.
2. Make a note of your subdomain. For example, if your Freshdesk URL is `https://mysubdomain.freshdesk.com`, then the subdomain is `mysubdomain`.

### Find API key <a href="#find-api-key" id="find-api-key"></a>

1. In the top right corner, click your avatar image and select **Profile settings** from the dropdown.
2. On the **My Profile Settings** page, find and click **View API Key**.
3. Make note of your API key in a secured document.
