# Integrating with Justworks
Link Justworks to Drivetrain to automate employee data syncs into your models. Covers setup, permissions, and understanding what workforce data transfers.
Drivetrain uses [Merge](http://merge.dev/) to integrate with Justworks. You authorize the connection directly from Justworks, so no manual account setup is required.
### Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure:
1. You have an active **Justworks admin** account.
2. You have **Admin access in Drivetrain** with permission to add data sources.
### Connect Justworks
Follow these steps to start the connection from within Drivetrain:
#### Step 1: Open the Justworks connector in Drivetrain
* Log in to **Drivetrain**.
* Go to the **Data** page.
* Click the **+ Add data source** icon.
* Search for **Justworks** and select it.
* Confirm **I am an admin** and click **Next**.
* **Review the list of items** Drivetrain will have read access to and click **Next**.
* Click **Open window** to launch the Justworks login prompt.
#### Step 2: Log in to Justworks
* You’ll be redirected to the **Justworks login** screen.
* Sign in using your **Justworks admin credentials**.
#### Step 3: Authorize the Connection
* Click **Next** on the first screen.
* If prompted, check the box to allow access to **Sex** or **Date of Birth** information.
* This checkbox only appears if your company requires that level of access.
* Click **Authorize** to complete authentication.
Once authorization succeeds, Merge will redirect you back to Drivetrain and your Justworks sync will begin.
