Integrating with Xero [OLD]
Add New User to your Organisation
Step 1 : Login into your Drivetrain Account
Step 2: Grant the Relevant Permissions
Step 3: Complete the Integration
Prerequisites
To connect Xero to Drivetrain, you need:
- An active Xero admin account 
- Admin privileges in Drivetrain 
Xero Setup
Add New User to your Organisation
- Using an account with admin privileges, click on the Organisation Name, go to Settings ⚙ 

- Once you click on Settings, Click on Users 

- Once you click on Users, click on Invite a user 

- Once you click on Invite a User, You have to add the first name, last name and email address of the user. The email address you send the invite to will be the user’s login email address 

- Select the below mentioned permissions for the user, you can read more about the permissions here 

- (Optional) Click Add a message, then enter an email message. You can include a link to our support article on how to accept or decline a Xero invite 
- Click Send invite 
Drivetrain Setup
Step 1 : Login into your Drivetrain Account
- Go to data page, and click on + New Data Source 

- Click +Connect on the Xero Data Connector from the list of integrations and click on Login to connect 


- You will be redirected to the Xero login page. 
- If you're not signed into Xero, do that now. If you are already signed in, simply select the account from which you want to import the data. 

- Once you login into the Xero account, click on Allow access 

Step 2: Grant the Relevant Permissions
- Select the company you want to connect to Drivetrain 
Step 3: Complete the Integration
- You will be redirected back to the Drivetrain. Please wait until drivetrain starts fetching data from Xero. 

- Your Xero connection will start showing up on the Data page. Once the sync is complete, you will be able to see your Xero data on Drivetrain!
